The Villages Hospital, part of Central Florida Health Alliance, is a 198-bed acute care hospital located in the heart of The Villages, a nationally-known adult community. Specially designed to bring hospitality to health care, the facility serves the tri-county area of Lake, Sumter and South Marion counties.
The Villages Hospital is committed to providing quality care and service excellence. Our facility consists of state-of-the art surgical suites, intensive care unit, a radiology department featuring filmless computer imaging, pharmacy, clinical laboratory and a full service emergency department. The Villages Hospital is home to one of the world’s first Philips Ambient Experience Catheter Labs designed to improve the experience during heart catheter procedures. In 2009, our world-class orthopedic services at the Alliance Bone & Joint Center expanded to The Villages, where we now offer joint replacement. We also recently earned the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval by demonstrating compliance with the Joint Commission’s national standards for healthcare quality and safety.
